A site that launched cleanly still breaks later. A plugin updates. A form starts sending mail to the wrong place. A certificate expires. Website maintenance is the unglamorous work that keeps the enquiry path alive. A monthly plan should name that work, not sell “peace of mind” with no list.
What belongs in the month
A backup you can actually restore, stored somewhere other than only on the same server. Updates for the core, the theme, and the plugins, checked on a copy when the site is fussy. A look at uptime and at the form or checkout. A short note of what changed. A small pool of content edits: a price, a photo, a paragraph, a new team name.
Security belongs here too. Remove users who left. Keep admin addresses sensible. If the site was compromised, that is an incident, not a line item inside a quiet month. See what to send when a website is down.
What is a separate project
A new page set, a redesign, a shop, a migration to a new host, and an ad account are not maintenance. They are milestones with their own scope. A care plan that pretends to include “anything you think of” either under-delivers or quietly becomes a second job. Uplaps would rather write the extra work down.
How we run care
Maintenance can sit beside a project. The amount and the next due date show in the client dashboard, in the currency agreed for that client. Critical failures are still picked up the same working day, Monday to Saturday, 11:00–20:00 Pakistan time. The plan does not require an advance to start. The first month is described, you approve the arrangement, and the fee follows that description.
Website maintenance has the public version of this offer. If the site is already misbehaving, start a project or message the studio with the URL in the first line.
